Privacy policy
Plain English, because that is the whole point of this business. If anything here is unclear, email us and we will explain it properly.
Who we are
Knowsi, operated from Australia. Contact us any time at info@knowsi.ai.
What we collect
When you sign up: your email address, and the ad, link or page that brought you here.
When you use the site: pages you visit, how far you scroll, how long you stay, what you click, and general location worked out from your IP address (country and city, never a street address). We do not record what you type into forms.
When we email you: whether you opened it and which links you clicked.
We do not ask for, or want, your payment details, your date of birth, or any health, financial or government identity information.
Why we collect it
To send you things worth reading, and to work out which ones actually help so we make more of those and fewer of the rest. If we can see that you read everything about one topic and nothing about another, we send you more of the first. That is the entire ambition.
Cookies and similar
We set a first-party cookie holding an identifier that links your visit to your email address, so we do not have to make you log in. Our analytics provider sets its own cookies to recognise a returning browser.
Meta. We use the Meta pixel and Meta's Conversions API, which means Meta (Facebook and Instagram) is told when you visit our site and when you sign up, so we can measure whether our ads work and show ads to people like you. Meta uses that information under its own privacy policy, which we do not control.
You can block all of this with your browser's cookie settings or an ad blocker, and the site will still work.
Who else sees your information
We use a small number of providers to run the business. They only ever process your information on our instructions:
- Cloudflare hosts this site.
- Supabase stores the contact list.
- Resend sends the email.
- PostHog records the site analytics.
- Meta receives advertising and conversion data as described above.
Some of these store data outside Australia, including in the United States. We never sell your information, and we never share your email address with anyone for their own marketing.
How long we keep it
Until you tell us to stop, plus a short period afterwards so we can honour your unsubscribe. Site analytics are kept for up to twelve months.
Your choices
Unsubscribe using the link at the bottom of any email we send. One click, no questions, and it takes effect immediately.
Ask us what we hold on you, correct it, or have it deleted by emailing info@knowsi.ai. We will action it within 30 days. Deleting means deleting, not hiding.
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your information, you can complain to the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner at oaic.gov.au.
Changes
If we change this policy we update the date at the top. If the change is significant we will tell you by email rather than hoping you check.
